Visioning We explore what many see as the present and future of learning and share with you how 21st Century learning facilities design is responding.
Planning We collaboratively examine your teaching and learning goals, review expectations, set project priorities, criteria and principles, plotting a course for creating a highly responsive environment for learning.
Design Guided by our 33 Design Principles, new and innovative design concepts are sought that are capable of inspiring and motivate students, teachers and community. We are able to team with your local architect to implement these concepts into the realities of cost, schedule and quality.
Evaluation Design criteria set at the beginning of the project are used to evaluate how well the facility design meets your expectations. Once the building is complete and occupied, we conduct a post-occupancy evaluation to make sure the facility supports expected learning and teaching goals and outcomes.
Professional Development
Build it and they will come, but will they use it to its fullest potential? We offer professional development and training opportunities to for your teaching staff and community to understand how best to make use of the new facility. We offer this just prior to opening when concepts developed early in the process were first developed, as well as, on an on-going basis to train new staff who may have not been apart of the original planning and design process.
